Small Ship Adventures

Small ship adventures allow you to get up close and personal to wildlife experiences that you cant reach by land, and that the big ships cant access. It gives you a more intimate experience, where you will get to meet most of your fellow guests and will come to think of the crew more as family by the end of your trip.

Take the plunge, tick off some of your Bucket List Wishes, and experiences some of the most remote and interesting places of the world.

Join a once-in-a lifetime journey to Antarctica with one of Australia’s greats, Kurt Fearnley AO, as special guest.

Three times Paralympic gold medalist and the holder of a plethora of other international medals and achievements, including Gold at the recent Commonwealth Games in Australia, and succesfully crawling the Kokoda Track, Kurt truly knows what it feels like to be on top of the world.

Now, on this unique fundraising journey, Kurt will travel to the incredible beauty found at the end of the earth, on a quest to raise funds supporting education for people with disabilities, living marginalised areas. Antarctica is a place where no society exists, where barriers don’t box people in and being is all that matters. It is the perfect stage to springboard awareness and support for the abilities of people with disabilities.

“My education instilled in me the value of expectation. Expectation which I treasure to this day. When travelling internationally, I’ve seen a life without expectation and without education and that can be more disabling than any disability. I hope to play a small part to increase the participation of people with disabilities in marginalised communities around the world. And I look forward to you joining me win that journey.” Kurt Fearnley.

Departing from Ushuaia, this unique and exclusive fundraising journey will cross the formidable Drake Passage before spending time engulfed in the serene and ethereal surroundings of the Antarctic Peninsula, where silence is so profound you will hear your neck creak as you take in the majestic vistas of this ‘otherworldly’ locale.

To be a part of this exciting fundraiser all you need do is book and travel on the journey,  proceeds from berth sales will be donated to the MAD project where, working directly with Kurt Fearnley, the funds will reach the Kurt Fearnley Centre which operates in the Ruben Centre in Nairobi providing education programs for people with disabilities in marginalised locations.

There will also be money-can’t-buy auction items up for grabs at the end of trip celebration, with proceeds also donated to the cause.
